Autumn news from WildLuing and looking towards 2025.
Suddenly it seems that autumn is upon us. October has arrived and the nights have begun to slowly draw in a bit earlier each evening. But we have been busy here at WildLuing with lots of lovely trips and adventures taking place. This included some group trips across to the island Scarba for walks and bothy picnic lunches. Also we have had some big groups staying with us with group catering in the Observatory by our wonderful cooks Kitty and Iain using fresh, local produce. We have enjoyed welcoming so many guests from all over the world visiting Luing for a getaway, a honeymoon or a family gathering.
As you can see in the photo above Chief Morale Officers Puffin and Piglet have been keeping everyone happy with galloping around accompanying visitors, lots of sniffs, cuddles and exploring the island in between naps. During our autumn season it has been great to host a beach clean with Scottish Coastal Clean Up and welcome guests to an autumnal weekend with Ballintaggart and Nc’Nean Whisky Distillery.

Looking ahead to 2025 we are booking in big private groups for family gatherings, retreats and group visits.
Our pricing for 2025 starts from:
To rent the whole site: £200 a day for the Observatory, £180 a day for each suite (8 suites fitting 16 people). Minimum 2 night stay.
Total to rent whole site for 2 nights, 2 days including observatory for 16 people is £3280. Total exclusive use of site.
Additional add on activities by enquiry: Our in house cook can cater for your group in the observatory (starting from £200 a day for 3 meals excluding provisions and alcohol), boat trip for group, private island bothy picnic, sauna and pontoon use.
