WildWoofs:

We love WildWoofs! We are dog friendly here at WildLuing. We love people bringing their dogs on their wild adventures. These can be added to your stay upon booking. If you bring your dog with you to visit our island please keep them on a lead near livestock, on farmland and near wildlife.

Here at WildLuing we have our own unofficial mascots in the form of Puffin and Piglet.

Puffin:

Puffin is Chief Morale Officer. Puffin takes good care of the WildLuing staff by providing essential mental health and morale services like licking, cuddling, and looking cute. Say hi if you see her!

Piglet:

Piglet is our Junior Distraction Officer. Piglet makes sure that all WildLuing staff members are appropriately always distracted. Very friendly but likes to chew on fingers. And no, you can’t take her home, even if she does fit in your bag.

A few FAQs for WildWoofs:

How much to add your dog to your stay?

It is £20 extra added onto your booking.

Are there lots of walks to take my dog on?

Yes there are a number of different routes all across the island just waiting to be explored. Lots are off the road.

Do you have beaches to visit with them?

Our beaches aren’t the usual sandy beaches but more slate pebbles but still beautiful to sit on or have a wander. For paddling there are lots of nice areas to try.

Can my dog go on the furniture?

Please do not allow dogs onto the bed or the sofa. It is extremely time consuming to clean dof hair off of the sofa and mattress, please bring your dog’s bed and bowl with them so they are comfortable. Also,  ensure they are clean before entering by using the warm outside tap to the right of the observatory doors.

Should I keep my dog on a lead?

Please be aware that the island is a working farm and there are livestock roaming loose. Dogs MUST be kept under control at all times and gates must be left as you find them- either open or closed. Please be aware that there are a number of hidden cliffs up on the hills so please check your terrain carefully. WildWoofs are welcome to run around our site as long as they are good with people and other dogs. Any dog poos done onsite should be bagged up and put in the large grey bin in the car park.

Are any WildSuites dog free?

We also have Fladda and Losal WildSuites that are dog free if guests prefer it.
