WildLuing reopens for Easter 2024

We are back! WildLuing is reopening for 2024 on 29th March. We are so looking forward to meeting visitors to Luing and our site in the coming months. Here on the West coast things are beginning to liven up for spring. As you enter the WildLuing site down the driveway the Daffodils are bursting out of the ground and Crocuses are adding a pop of colour to the island scenery. Looking across to the island of Torsa the sea is clear and reflects against its hilly curves.

Elsewhere on the island the Luing cattle herd have started to bear calves and these little bundles of joy romp around the island following the rest of the herd. Along with the soon to be born lambs due in April up on the hills across the breadth of Luing it’s good to have these new additions to the island.

At WildLuing the wildlife is out and about across the island including Shags and Cormorants sat lazily on buoys preening themselves; to the seals resting up on the rocks directly opposite the WildSuites. Easter is a great time to visit WildLuing and enjoy all that the upcoming spring weather has to offer. The sun is out, and it is a good time to do some gentle walks exploring the island. Alternatively, you can hunker down in the WildSuites to birdwatch or read a good book with a brew of your choice.
